In the clothing industry, many products that require electroplating, such as metal buttons, plastic buttons, belt buckles, etc. all require electroplating process. Button plating process
1. Connect the plated metal to the anode
2. Connect the plating to the cathode
3. The anode and cathode are connected by an electrolyte composed of metal-plated positive ions
4. After applying DC power, the anode metal undergoes an oxidation reaction (loses electrons). Positive ions in the solution are reduced to atoms at the cathode (getting electrons) and accumulate on the surface of the negative electrode.
